Super strengthened material of carbon steel finished in black oxide. Crimping cycle allows only a full cycle ensuring complete crimping action has taken place. Should a terminal be misaligned on start-up and crimp need to be aborted, there is a release mechanism to bypass the full cycle and reposition the terminal.
