Systems Components
Over the years RFI have gained much knowledge and experience as to the importance of using technically suitable and consistent quality system components in any RF system. Considering that an RF system relies on the integrity of every component within it, our system components are designed to comfortably meet all important technical pre-requisites.

Low Pass/Harmonic Filters
Low Pass/Harmonic Filters are primarily used to control unwanted components of a signal. Characteristically low loss and small in size, these lumped constant filters are used to attenuate harmonics in the transmitting path or to attenuate high levels of out-of-band interfering signals in a receiver path. RFI have a number of banded low pass/harmonic filter models suitable to use on fundamental carrier frequencies from 132MHz to 960MHz.
DC Injectors/Pickoffs
RFI DC Injectors/Pickoffs enable the coupling of DC 'onto' an RF coaxial cable and the de-coupling of DC 'off' an RF coaxial cable. The DC voltage range can be negatively or positively earthed between 12 to 48 Volts. For DC injectors/pickoffs requiring additional lightning protection please refer to the lightning protection product range.
Directional Couplers (3-Port)
3-Port directional couplers, although primarily used in distributed antenna systems, are useful in a number of RF system applications. RFI have a wide frequency range and coupling values to choose from.

Directional Couplers (4-Port)
Used in applications that require a coupled port for both forward and reverse RF power sampling with high directivity/isolation, the RFI range of 4-port couplers provide a low ripple predetermined coupling loss across a wide frequency range. High power 750W multi-carrier options are also available in a number of the frequency bands.

Hybrid Couplers (4-Port)
RFI's 4-port 90 degree quadrature hybrid coupler components cover a frequency range from 66MHz up to 2700MHz in different models, offering fixed decoupling values ranging from 3dBd up to 30dBd. This wide variety of 4-port hybrid couplers provides the RF system,s design engineer with greater flexibility and peak performance optimisation.

RF Loads & Terminations
The wide range of RFI loads and terminations are used in low power applications, from receiver multicouplers to higher power requirements in isolators and hybrid couplers that are available in standard frequency ranges from DC up to 2.5GHz. Designed with conservative heat dissipation/power density factors, the RFI termination loads come in different forms and termination connector options.

RF Samplers
RFI RF Samplers provide a decoupled RF port via an in-line low loss coupler unit. Fixed decoupled values across a predetermined frequency range provide a useful facility to monitor power levels or the integrity of sampled RF power without necessarily increasing the overall system insertion loss. 3-pot and 4-port directional couplers can also be used as RF samplers. The 3-port coupler will effectively sample only decoupled forward power through the unit, whereas the 4-port directional coupler is able to measure either forward or reverse decoupled power depending on the coupling port selected.
RF-over-Fibre Equipment
The RFI RF-over-Fibre (RFoF) modem product range provides a number of broadband frequency and configuration options. From simplex to duplex within a single fibre utilising WDM, the available RFoF modem modules provide a broad range of solutions offering versatility on the available fibre types and required connection distances.
Racking & Mounting Equipment
RFI provides a wide variety of mounting options for system components and systems. From specialised and customised mounting brackets to industry standard 16" rack mounting shelves, enclosures and sub-racks. Please contact RFI to discuss your system component mounting requirements.
