Dipole Array Antennas

Ever increasing costs and site density requirements are reducing availability of antenna positions on prime sites. In order to reduce the overall number of antennas the RFI dipole array series provide systems engineers and site owners with a flexible solution to reduce antenna numbers.

The RFI range of dipole arrays provide expanded bandwidth, high power ratings and unequalled performance in gain, pattern and intermodulation performance.

VHF Omnidirectional Dipole Arrays

These high performance VHF dipole omnidirectional arrays are for use in highly populated radio sites requiring long haul omnidirectional coverage. The arrays feature high gain, low noise performance and enhanced null fill coverage with omnidirectional coverage characteristics.

VHF Elliptical Dipole Arrays

These high performance VHF binary phased elliptical arrays are ideal for the bi-directional coverage requirement of paging and VHF high band mobile "corridor" applications. The main lobe of these arrays is strong and highly controlled with extensive side lobe suppression ensuring the integrity of the pattern.

VHF Offest Dipole Arrays

These high performance VHF dipole offset arrays are ideal for use when cardiod pattern is required. The arrays feature high gain, low noise performance and enhanced null fill coverage with typical cardiod coverage characteristics.

UHF Omnidirectional Dipole Arrays

These high performance UHF dipole arrays are ideal for highly populated radio sites requiring long haul omnidirectional coverage. They operate over entire bands and offer gains of 3, 6 or 9dBd (depending on the model) exhibiting a VSWR of <1.5:1 across the band.

UHF Elliptical Dipole Arrays

The EA series arrays provide exceptionally high gain with an elliptical shaped radiation pattern, ideal for the bi-directional coverage requirements of some "corridor" applications.

UHF Offset Dipole Arrays

Offset arrays are directional antennas for use when a base station is at one end of the coverage area. These new arrays feature improved gains, low noise performance and enhanced null fill coverage in an array with typical cardiod coverage characteristics.

Array Combinations

RFI combination arrays are available in 3 different configurations:

Single Section Multiple Arrays

Two arrays stacked vertically on the one mast section and fed by two seperate cable tails for applications where combinations of omnidirectional, offset or elliptical arrays are required.

Dual Section Combination Dipole Arrays

Two arrays shipped on two sections for ease of shipping and installation, these arrays feature a larger diameter lower section with the upper array telescoping into the lower. Combinations of omnidirectional, offset or elliptical arrays are available and can be individually fed as two antennas or phased together for a high gain configuration.

Combination Collinear and Dipole Arrays

Similar to the combination arrays, this type of array uses a collinear antenna as the upper section of the array. These combinations are ideally suited in applications where tower loading is a consideration. The adapter at the top of the lower section allows the use of any style of our higher gain UHF collinear antennas.
