The RADOX® cables are designed to withstand extreme Australian temperatures, UV Radiation, ozone, hydrolysis and aggressive environments. These cables last 8 times longer life than rubber cables and up to 32 times longer than standard PVC cables in these conditions. HUBER+SUHNER RADOX® cables feature irradiation cross linked insulation materials which have been specifically developed for use in severe outdoor installations.

The RADOX® range also includes solar connectors designed to operate in the same harsh environments as the cable. They operate over a wide temperature range, are rated to IP67 and are UV and ozone resistant. These connectors have a low transition resistance and high current capacity, are physically small and mechanically robust. They are available in standard versions or with an integrated twist locking mechanism.
