Where has RFI been lately?
SPURIOUS CHALLENGE 2009
The NSW Radio Communications Industry’s “Spurious Challenge” was held in February this year. Another sunny day saw a huge turnout of more than 150 people on 15 boats. The winners of the event were Broadcast Australia. The Versace award went to ARCIA for their interpretation of yachting fashion but was it for the bright coloured yellow shirts or their very catching phrase about bandwidth on the back of the shirts.
A special mention to all the companies that contributed great prizes for our raffles.
Thanks to Kenwood, Icom, ComGroup and Tait who together donated prizes worth over $2500.
A tremendous effort. Together we raised close to $1000.00 for the Red Cross Victorian Bush Fire Appeal.
