BP Solar product developments

BP Solar Products

BP4165 and BP4175
AVAILABLE NOW!

After an absence of several years BP Solar has reintroduced 165 Watt and 175 Watt Monocrystalline solar modules to the market, with BP3165 and BP3175 polycrystalline modules being replaced by their mono equivalents BP4165 and BP4175 with junction box or MC leads models available. This also means changes to grid kits with BP4165 mono modules replacing poly BP3165 modules in 1320E, 1650, 2970, and 4950W kits, while all other kits retain BP3170 poly modules. The nominal 6300 Watt kit has also been slightly “down sized” to 6120 Watts with BP3170 poly modules.

This may lead to some issues with up-grades to existing solar systems with polycrystalline modules as mono modules have dark blue/black cells appearance compared to blue poly cells in which the crystal structure is apparent, so please talk to your RFI sales office when up-grading systems.

CHANGES TO SOLAR SIGHT’S

As announced last October BP Solar has now discontinued production of SolarSight monitoring device and these are no longer included in kits. Monitoring devices such as SMA SunnyBeam are now an optional extra for all grid kits.

Demand for grid kits remains very high but RFI is now holding substantial inventory of all models, plus plenty of all the range of BP Solar modules.
