Rollable Solar Chargers

PowerFilm® integrated solar panels (thin film on plastic) are developed and manufactured with a proprietary roll process making them truly rollable unlike other thin film technologies. PowerFilm is made of silicon, a natural resource in abundant supply. They are also cadmium free, unlike some other solar technologies, and perform well in diverse environments, including hot sun, and does not suffer from wasted over-voltage.

There are two sizes available:


USB + AA Solar Charger

Ultra compact, ultra light and yet durable, the ­PowerFilm USB + AA Solar Charger is a perfect solar charging solution for smart phones, portable gaming devices, portable music players and much more. The USB + AA Solar Charger will charge just about all micro USB devices and with the included ­rechargeable batteries storing the energy from the
panels, you can even use this charger in the dark!.

Foldable Solar Chargers

Designed for users who need lightweight and portable power for laptop, mobile and satellite phones, GPS units, car batteries and more, ­PowerFilm® Foldable Solar Chargers handle almost any charging need. Chargers can be combines with standard PowerFilm® accessories for even more applications.

PowerFilm® Foldable Solar Chargers are extremely lightweight and compact, with the largest charger easily stored in a backpack or laptops bag. The chargers are designed for durability, and are UV and weather resistant to handle diverse environments.


All PowerFilm® Solar Chargers are supplied in attractive and functional retail packaging.

RFI also carry and range of PowerFilm® Accessories including:

  • Charge controller
  • 4.5 metre extension cord with alligator clips
  • 4.5 metre extension cord with O-ring battery terminal connectors
