RFI introduces a new twist in mobile antennas with the release of the new Q-Fit removable whip system to the successful CD2195 mobile phone and CD5000 UHF CB antennas.
The CDQ2195 and CDQ5000 employ the new Q-Fit™ removable whip system for fast and simple removal when entering low height areas
(e.g. car parks, garages etc), when using car washes or for antenna
security.
These antennas are extremely robust in design and utilise RFI’s patented PCB Meander™ technology offering the ultimate in performance stability, making these ideally suited for use in fringe areas or rural applications where antenna performance provides your “critical link”.
Both antenna’s use a 13mm stud mount on an heavy duty electro-polished stainless steel spring with chrome plated brass fittings making these ideal for installation on commercial vehicles, trucks, four wheel drives and RV’s. Like the CD2195 and the CD5000, the CDQ2195 and CDQ5000 are identical in appearance allowing matching antennas for the more discerning vehicle owner.
The Q-Fit™ removable whip system will be expanded over the coming months to include:

> CDQ2197 7.5 dBi multi-band mobile antenna
> CDQ2199 9 dBi multi-band mobile antenna
> CDQ6000 8 dBi UHF CB antenna
ALSO AVAILABLE WITH UPGRADED WHIP SECTIONS:
Upgrade whips will allow users to purchase a full CDQ antenna complete with spring assembly as standard then upgrade to a lower or higher gain CDQ whip section for different applications/geography (e.g. a smaller low gain whip around the city or mountainous regions and a longer higher gain whip for flatter terrain such as deserts or open plains).
